Anja Riedel-Bicknell, OTR/L
Licensed Occupational Therapist
Anja moved to North Carolina from California in the fall of 2005. She obtained her Certification as an Occupational Therapist in Germany and later obtained her BS from the University of Zuyd in the Netherlands. Her past pediatric experience in Germany includes inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Anja is a dedicated therapist who very much enjoys working with children and strongly believes that the parents are an essential part of therapy.

Julie Ann Burke, LPT, Clinical Coordinator
Licensed Physical Therapist
Julie Ann brings 19 years of experience to our office, most recently being the lead therapist and clinical coordinator for Charlotte Pediatric Therapy's Concord office from 1996-2004. She holds a BS in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in Boston, MA and has also obtained her Neuro-Developmental Treatment certification. Her pediatric experience shows in her kind and compassionate care for children. |

Virginia "Gina" Carroll, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Gina recently moved to NC and began working with Cabarrus County Schools before coming to our clinic. Previously, she worked in early intervention (0-3 year olds) with developmentally delayed children in New York, after completing her MS at Columbia University in NY. Gina is able to communicate with our many Hispanic families due to her early childhood experience of living in Puerto Rico. She is enthusiastic and loving towards all of our children. |

Susan Coleman, CMA, Office Manager
Certified Medical Assistant
Susan is a certified medical assistant and our office manager, She has experience as a respiratory therapist and over 15 years experience as a medical office manager. She is well liked by parents and children alike, and they love to share their accomplishments with her. |

Shona Guild, MSPT
Licensed Physical Therapist
Shona has recently moved to North Carolina from Boston, MA. She holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University. Her past pediatric experience was at Franciscan Hospital for Children in Boston and includes early intervention, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, medical daycare, school-based services, and aquatic therapy. She is a very easy-going yet dedicated therapist who strives to make exercise fun as well as functional. |

Sharon Levine, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Sharon comes to us with over 25 years of experience in speech, language, and swallowing therapy, the past 4.5 of which were at NEMC's Audiology and Speech Clinic. A New Jersey native, Sharon received her BS from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and her MS from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She is extremely knowledgeable and loving with the children. |

Kathleen Thorp, COTA/L
Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant
Kathleen moved to North Carolina in 1999. She graduated with honors from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy Assistant School. She is currently a member of the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association. She is a caring and devoted therapist who works hard to help her patients while allowing them to be children and have fun. |
